Passi in Capolavori is a brand-new label, founded by the Dutch entrepreneurs Peter Heerkens and his partner Jacqueline Lautenslager. In March 2017 they’ve opened a concept store in the historical centre of a Dutch city with a name that’s almost impossible to pronounce; ‘s-Hertogenbosch.
Addy van den Krommenacker used to work as a stylist until he launched his first couture collection in 2001. Just like Peter, Addy is working in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, the capital of one of the southern provinces of the Netherlands. This beautiful city also used to be the domicile of one of the most famous painters in the world: Hieronymus Bosch.
Garden of Earthly Delights
The paths of Addy and Peter crossed while Addy was preparing his Bosch by Addy collection, based on one of Bosch’ most iconic paintings The garden of earthly delights. Peter was asked to design a matching footwear collecting, using Addy’s prints which resulted in the Addy van den Krommenacker by Passi in Capolovari collection.
Peter has developed a special software programme that enables him to print whatever image directly onto one of his designer shoes. His footwear collection for Addy van den Krommenacker is one of the projects he has currently worked on and SHOEdesignmakers is very proud to be able to represent his work.
