Sun-dried tomatoes, basil and chilled Italian white wine
The exotic-sounding name Lisa Tucci conjures up images of sun-dried tomatoes, basil and chilled Italian white wine. And probably that is exactly what Hans Loffeld, the creator of this brand, had in mind when he started his brand of ladies’ shoes. Lisa Tucci, however, is deeply rooted in Dutch soil.
Distinctive and stylish
After a trip to Italy Hans Loffeld, a true entrepreneur who owned a small chain of cafes at the time, decided to change trade: he was going to start his own brand of women’s footwear. Initially Loffeld sold Italian import shoes, but at the end of the 1980’s he decided that these just weren’t good enough; he wanted to create his own, unique brand of footwear with shoes that not only were distinctive but also good-fitting and stylish.
Heart & soul
He found a great match in an Italian designer, who was perfectly capable of translating his ideas into unique designs. Together they became the company’s heart and soul, which resulted in a successful footwear brand. Real soon business became booming. Both Hans’ brother-in-law Hub and his son Alexander joined the company. Hub had a flourishing shoe shop in Kerkrade but decided it was time for a new phase in his life and Alexander stopped selling clothing’s for more or less the same reason as his uncle had. Alexander became his father’s successor in 2000, still maintaining Hans’ initial ideas about the brand.
Significant heels
Lisa Tucci shoes have their own signature. Significant feature are the heels, from which each Lisa Tucci design can be recognized. The use of fine leathers and bright colours, and a great fit make each Lisa Tucci design a joy to wear.
